CANOPY: Thin, high, at base of old pine tree; otherwise open; DISCONTINUOUS, OPEN SITE. SURFACE: Water, mossy rocks.
Climate:
Site located over McRae Creek. Directly above is thin canopy from old pine tree, but site is open. On east side of creek, so thick wall of trees to east, open all other directions. Susceptible to cold-air drainage issues. (JWS 2001)
