ABSTRACT:
This database contains a common structure (entities 1, 2, 3) for long-term growth, mortality and regeneration of trees in Permanent vegetation Sample Plots, which are a network of more than 130 permanent vegetation plots provides long-term information on patterns and rates of forest succession in most of the major forest zones of the Pacific Northwest, and a variety of watershed studies within and near the Andrews Experimental Forest. The data for individual stands are watersheds are served through various other database codes including TV010, TP041, TP073, TP091, TP114, TP115. This database also includes individual, stand and plot summary data (entities 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11) and equations for density, basal area, volume and biomass of live and dead trees and bole net primary productivity. These data are recalculated after each remeasurement. Entity 12 contains the activity history by plot across the network. Other entities provide specific information on plots, stands, and individual trees used for management purposes.
