KEYWORDS:
Inorganic nutrients, Organic matter, Long-Term Ecological Research (LTER), inorganic nutrients, coarse woody debris, organic matter
METHODS:
Experimental Design - TD035:
Description:

Transects were systematically placed throughout the Canopy Crane plot at Wind River Experimental Forest. Transects were 25 M long, set along boundaries of 25 x 25M subplots within the crane circle.

Field Methods - TD035 :
Description:

All pieces of coarse woody debris greater than 10 cm diameter were measured on a 25 M transect. Species, decay class, and diameter were recorded. Volumes were calculated using standard line transect methods (Van Wagner, Brown).
