KEYWORDS:
Inorganic nutrients, water chemistry, storms, inorganic nutrients, carbon, nitrogen, phosphorus
PURPOSE:
Evaluating spatial and temporal variability of stream nutrient concentrations at headwater gaged basins during storms in Andrews Experimental Forest
METHODS:
Experimental Design - CF006:
Description: Automated storm water collections made at stream gaging sites.
Field Methods - CF006:
Description: Sigma samplers were installed in gage houses. Tygon tubing was run from samplers to stream. Samplers were manually turned on at beginning of storm and programmed to collect stream water samples every 2-4 hours.
Laboratory Methods - CP006:
Description: Samples were refrigerated after being collected from gage house. They were filtered in the laboratory within 24 hrs using ashed GFF filters. Samples were then frozen. For chemical analysis, see Cooperative Chemical Analytical Lab web page http://ccal.oregonstate.edu/
Citation: See CCAL web for analytical instruments http://ccal.oregonstate.edu/
Quality Assurance - CF006:
Description: See CCAL web for QAQC http://ccal.oregonstate.edu/
